HP has always emerged as a segment-leader in marketing niche products,

especially mobile computing devices. It has been giving out products designed

for students, home-users, office-goers and all other different groups of people.

With the requirement being fast, reliable and good-looking, HP checks all the 3

boxes with a tag-line of "World's thinnest laptop". However, the reliability of

the after-sales service and spares for this particular model needs to be

assessed in due time.

The most important feature of a mobile computing device is that it has to easily

handled, carried and used without any effort. The size of the device matters for

those who move around a lot with a lot of information. The advent of SSDs have

now been a common-place for the computing devices to abide by in order to be

called as "Fast". However, no fire and fury as the HP has brough in place a

threshold of 95deg temperature with hyperbaric cooling chamber.

The display is an IPS 1920x1080 full HD non-touch screen. It is very bright,

clear and has a good visibility from side angles too. The image appears to be a

little glossy but nonetheless bright. This premium laptop as HP potrays it to be

is very productive, efficient when it comes to power usage. It is also a very

powerful and performace-oriented machine with all the slimness.

Should you go for this laptop over the rest of the lot? Absolutely YES! If you

have a taste for slim things!

Apple MacBook Pro. Is this really a Pro Bro!

How would you like to spend 1300-2800$?

Apple has finally dished out the latest product in its line-up of electronic

products, the latest however is the 300$ Apple book of 450 photographs. The

all-new Macbook Pro has 1 USB-C and 3 thunderbolt ports and is now missing the

ESC key! So, where did the ESC key go? The laptop now comes with a touch-bar

feature, which allows you to do more than you could imagine with a strip of

touch-screen.

For a laptop, it has lost a lot, the newly launched version does not have any of

the HDMI, SD-Card ports. However, it has 2 USB-C-type and a 3.5 mm HEADPHONE

jack. It has this butterfly touch, flat-type keyboard setup and Force Touch

trackpad. The modest design language does not remove any of the sharp lines,

curvy grips and the bling-factor still remains.

The color gamut has been widened and to match the display quality of 5K iMac and the latest Apple

iPhone 7. With the numbers sliding more towards a compromising factor, the

2560x1600 display has been the one-noticeable change in this new device. It has

been anticiapted for a while now and the maximum that this laptop has to offer

is the new polished tech inside of the slim and sleek notebook. This device has

10-hour battery life with the 67 percent increase in the display brightness.

Dynamic range, volume levels and the bass-drop is the other thing to "speak-

off". The trackpad has now been increased in its size and is now twice as large

when compared to the older models. The 13-inch laptop with Touch Bar and Touch

ID runs on i5- Intel processor, Intel Iris Graphics 550 whereas the 15-incher

flys on i7- Intel processor and Radeon Pro 450. However, all the three new

models have a PCIe SSD ranging from 256 to 1TB storage space.

There is Turbo Boost processing with the Intel's Core i5 and i7 chips in them,

and the graphics are quicker as the Apple claims it to be.500 nits of brightness

and a data transfer speed of 40Gbps is another thing that is told to the press.

However, the Apple could have used the numbers in other departments to enhance

the experience of Mobile computing.

With all that and the adapters, tell me, How would you like to spend 1300-2800$?
