HP has always emerged as a segment-leader in marketing niche products,

especially mobile computing devices. It has been giving out products designed

for students, home-users, office-goers and all other different groups of people.

With the requirement being fast, reliable and good-looking, HP checks all the 3

boxes with a tag-line of "World's thinnest laptop". However, the reliability of

the after-sales service and spares for this particular model needs to be

assessed in due time.

The most important feature of a mobile computing device is that it has to easily

handled, carried and used without any effort. The size of the device matters for

those who move around a lot with a lot of information. The advent of SSDs have

now been a common-place for the computing devices to abide by in order to be

called as "Fast". However, no fire and fury as the HP has brough in place a

threshold of 95deg temperature with hyperbaric cooling chamber.

The display is an IPS 1920x1080 full HD non-touch screen. It is very bright,

clear and has a good visibility from side angles too. The image appears to be a

little glossy but nonetheless bright. This premium laptop as HP potrays it to be

is very productive, efficient when it comes to power usage. It is also a very

powerful and performace-oriented machine with all the slimness.

Should you go for this laptop over the rest of the lot? Absolutely YES! If you

have a taste for slim things!
